Location - Char Paikpara, Shariakandi Upazila, Bogura 

There was an old mosque which was in bad condition and the locals requested to rebuild the mosque. We took up this projevt at the end of 2021. Arshitect Arshia visited the site and planned for the new mosque keeping in mind the requirements of the loclity. Before taking up the design, the digital survey of the land and soil test was done to ensure proper strcuture and longiveity of the new construction.

 

Arshitect Arshia designed the project which consists of  :

1. Main mosque building

2. Shower, bathrooms and ablution place

3. Accomodation for Imam.

 

Char Paikpara Jame Mosjid is a newly constructed building with unique architectural design and artistic beauty in a rural setting. The mosque with its bright texture of the ceramic-brick walls and coloured-tin roof looks like a beauty spot of the village against its lush green background.

Area of the main mosque is approximately 1500 square feet in a premises of 20 decimal land area. The mosque can comfortably accommodate around 175 people at a time. Currently, 60 percent of full capacity of the mosque is being used. The mosque is designed as such to allow free-flow of natural light and air.

There is a separate room for Imam within the premises. A well designed ablution place and several wash rooms have provided extra comfort to the devotees who come for prayer. The open space within the premises will be used as congregation place during two holy Eids and other socio-religious occasions.

The new mosque has replaced the tin-shed structure which was one-third size of the new mosque.. It took almost one year to finish the complex. Mosque was opened on the first day of Ramadan in 2023.
