Pran O Prakriti Foundation arranged its third Tree Plantation program in Satkhira Ditrict on 18 and 20th September 2023. Around 2000 big (5-7 feet long) saplings were distributed in 17 villages of Pratapnagar Union of Sathkhira district. These unions were under salt water for two years and most of the green vegetation in those areas were damaged during the prolonged period. 

Freedom Fighter Mr. Mohammed Mofazzal Hossain, was Chief guest on this occasion and distributed saplings among poor and needy.

Alhajj Abu Daud Dhali, Chairman of 10th Union under Pratapnagar was the main coordinator for the program. He thanked Pran O Prakriti foundation for their efforts in improving the vegetation of the area.

Varieties of saplings including Mango, Betel nuts, and fruit tress were distributed.
