According to UNESCO, there are more than 4.3million out of school children in Bangladesh, with many thousands more having to leave school due to social or economic pressures. Without access to quality education, many children will have difficulty navigating their communities and will struggle in their adulthood. We hope to empower the youth of Bangladesh through education and give them the tools they need to live fulfilling lives and become active members of their communities.

Our mission is to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education for children across Bangladesh, providing them with funding for their tuition, school supplies, and other necessary materials in order to keep them in school.

Pran O Prakriti Foundation functions as a charity, where donations go to funding children for one school year. Using the funds donated, we hope to fund the education of these children till they complete their schooling as a teenager, thus preparing them for their adult life and giving them the tools to work for a better future.

Education is the key to prosperity and progress, on an individual level as well as a national level. Education encourages critical thinking and lifelong learners, building the base for a better society and sustainable development in all sectors.

The challenge of providing education to every out of school child in Bangladesh is immense, but we humbly hope to reach our initial goal of sponsoring the education of 100 children across Bangladesh.

Our projects will focus on access and enrolment to primary and secondary education. With our resources, we also hope to address the wider concerns and barriers to education, such as health, well-being, and basic rights. It is important to provide complete access for our students to enrol in school, and this includes the removal of any obstructions that discourage them from pursuing their education.

DONATION AND DEPOSIT PROGRAM

Keeping rural children in school is key to their future prosperity. However, many families cannot afford to keep their children in school, so many students drop out before completing their education. In order to supplement the income needed, Pran O Prokriti has established a stipend program to support rural children’s education.

After assessing the average cost of village education, we have concluded that we can support a child’s school tuition, food allowance, school supplies, and other basic necessities for merely 20USD a month.

Pran O Prokriti Foundation has created two ways that you can support the education of young children in rural Bangladesh.

A donation of 240USD will support one student through a full year of education. Through our donation box, you can make a one-time donation to support a child’s education on a short-term basis.

Alternatively, you can support a child’s education till adulthood by donating 5,000USD as a permanent stipend. For such permanent donations, Pran O Prikriti will create a fund in your name and place the donation into an Islamic Bank’s deposit account, where it will generate income. This income will be used to support a student on a yearly basis. Once the student has completed their education, the fund will be used to support other students.
