Bangladesh is one of the countries in 

the world where health workers are in crisis. 

Ensuring healthcare for a population of 150 million remains a major challenge 

for the nation in the face of an acute shortage of qualified professionals. 

In order to explain the problems related to the lack of health workers and the 

provision of healthcare, this paper explores the role of different healthcare providers in delivering it.
